I love where I live. I truly can't imagine a more beautiful, entertaining, and enjoyable locale than the Twin Cities...we have so many different cultures represented here and so much top-notch culture! It's an infinitely date-friendly place to live, which Drayton (the hubs) and I really appreciate, because we are a definitely date-friendly couple :)
For example, date #1057: Restaurant Week. We decided last year to make a Restaurant Week outing our anniversary tradition. Every year in St. Paul/Minneapolis, a number of our top rated (and top price!) restaurants offer a three-course selection of menu favourites for the flat fee of $30/person--considering that the regular tab for one person to buy an appetizer, entree, and dessert is around $90-$120, that's a steal! What makes this an even more fun date is that you and your date can each choose a different appetizer, different entree, and different dessert from the Restaurant Week menu...and swap plates halfway through so that you end up trying six different items from the restaurant instead of three :) And let me tell you...the service, the decor, the ingredients, the recipes, the presentation--soooooooooo delightful and delicious!!!
